AHHHSTOKED

i am uber uber excited! i just got an interview with the vegie bar, in brunswick street!!!
for all you melbournites im sure you know the place. it is one of my favourite places on earth! ahhhh so stoked right now!

but also so nervous!!!!!!!!!! what do i wear???? the staff are so cool there i don't know if i can rise to the occasion!
it's gotta be casual, and i know i should wear something nice - but i don't want to be to dressy...
i can't wear leather (its vegeterian)
so so so stressed

my formal (prom in australia but still, different) is coming up soon. i'm doing the whole strong woman thing and going by myself, and im freaking because i haven't found a dress!!!! i'm thinking balmain esque, like this picture yet champagne coloured and both sleeves instead of one with some killer goth - like stilletos....what do you guys think?

One thing i've been thinking about lately is the sexualisation of women. i just think it is kind of disgusting the way that guys expect girls to hook up, and whenever i see graffiti in the street of naked women i have to wonder why there aren't any naked men? nowadays it seems there is an expectation of girls that they will do what a guy wants them to do.....and the thing is, a lot of women themselves are the ones promoting that expectation through their behaviour. women and young girls need to start having more respect for themselves.

me and my best friend are thinking about graffiti-ing up a huge picture of a man with an erection :)
hopefully people will get the message.

after seeing this photo, it inspired me to get my nose pierced.
now i have it done, and i must say, i love it!
now i just have to wait for awhile for it to heal properly so i can wear rings

yesterday i was talking to this guy who said that he wasn't a big fan of piercings on guys/tattoos in general...it made me think, because i thought these days piercings and tattoos were seen as being quite normal and not necessarily cheap...

what do you guys think?

me and my sister had been talking about buying these shorts for a while, when i decided to take the initiative and purchase them, without trying them on, which of course, ended in disaster. they were too small for both of us, marked deceivingly as a large but really about a size 8 (as a 12 and 13(i have a big ass), they were much too tight) so now i am left with a cool pair of shorts, with nothing to do but to try and find someone who would like to take in the lovely shorts.
now i know they aren't the sort of pair of shorts that everyone would be custom to. you might be thinking "cargo patterns with sequins? red with olive green?" but think about it....wouldn't this be cool with a black singlet and docs? with a white flowy shirt and flats? wouldn't this be just an amazing staple piece to have in your wardrobe?

but be warned....they are extremely high waisted and short

but when worn correctly, i believe will be mindblowing.
